COVID-19: Separating Fact from Fiction!

What do you need to know?

Hey there! Health worries, we have heard a lot about COVID-19, but do you believe what we have heard most is  myth, so let’s separate myths and facts about COVID-19 in this blog

Myth vs Fact 1: Transmission:

Myth: COVID-19 can spread through 5G networks.

Fact: Sorry, conspiracy theorists – COVID-19 is various and spreads when an infected person sneezes, and coughs just like other viral diseases. It does not travel through radiowaves. hence you are in contact with a COVID-19 patient through mobile phone, then buddy are safe!

Myth vs Fact 2: Vaccines

Myth: COVID-19 vaccines can alter your DNA.

Fact: This is a big misconception. mRNA vaccines work by teaching our cells how to make a protein that triggers an immune response. They don’t interact with our DNA at all.

Myth vs Fact 3: Treatments

Myth: Hydroxychloroquine is a proven treatment for COVID-19.

Fact: Despite early hopes and some high-profile claims, large-scale studies have not shown hydroxychloroquine to be an effective treatment for COVID-19. In fact, the FDA revoked its emergency use authorization for the drug in treating COVID-19 due to safety concerns and lack of efficacy.

Myth vs Fact 4: Prevention

Myth: Wearing a mask causes oxygen deficiency or CO2 intoxication.

Fact: Breathe easy – this myth doesn’t hold up. Properly worn masks don’t reduce oxygen levels or cause CO2 buildup. Healthcare workers have been wearing masks for long shifts for years without ill effects.

Conclusion:

There are a lot of myths about COVID-19 you might heard, but don’t believe them unless your doctor suggests you do so.
